Sony Mobile's Flagship Xperia Z Sets Course for Asia

Update: We just got word from Sony Mobile Malaysia that the Sony Xperia ZL will also be coming to Malaysia around the same time as the Xperia Z. The only difference between the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL is the fact that the ZL isn't IP55 & IP57 certified and comes with a smaller 2,300mAh battery but has a dedicated shutter button which makes it a good alternative for those who uses their smartphones for a lot of photography.
Hot on the heels of its showcase during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas which garnered high praise and adoration from critics and fans, Sony Mobile Communications showcased its all-new flagship Android smartphone, the Xperia Z at a regional media event held at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore yesterday.
While we didn't really get to spend as much time as we would have liked with the Xperia Z, our experience really left us flabbergasted as there's just so many things to love about it. From its design to the camera and to all the little goodies Sony has managed to fit into the Xperia Z really makes it a smartphone that we feel may just put Sony in the higher echelons when it comes to smartphones with the other two big names.
