Rumor: LG Nexus 4 Production Halted to Make Way for its Successor (Update)

*Update as of 16/1/2013: An LG company official refutes claims that the company has stopped production of the Nexus 4. In addition, the LG official states that rumors of a new Nexus device are false.

Can't get your hands on the LG Nexus 4? Well, it may be a blessing in disguise as International Business Times (IBT) reports that LG is focusing on the development of new smartphones, which include the Nexus 4's successor and other premium smartphones. 

During its press conference at CES 2013, LG Electronics SVP James Fisher revealed that the LG Nexus 4 is just "the first of many" Nexus products it is working on, and consumers can expect to see its next generation smartphones at MWC 2013 next month.
